Dyed in the Wool

The box from Spincycle Yarns arrived this afternoon.
I was in a very teal mood the day I ordered. The great thing about teal is that it goes with everything - gold, pink, purple, rust, brown, black, grey... I'm shocked by the number of purples that I ordered - not enough. I'll be doing another order soon to add more.
Deep Bump
Our kettle-dyeing process is slow and meticulous, and results in loooooooong color changes and unpredictable transitions through the skein... Every skein is like a snowflake! Or a fingerprint! One-of-a-kind, like you. When planning for a larger project requiring multiple skeins, allow for nuance. And enjoy!
Heart Sigh
Dyed In The Wool represents the fulfillment of our desire, here at Spincycle headquarters, to merge the beauty and texture of a handspun yarn with a more efficiently produced millspun yarn. We found the perfect partners at a mill on Camano Island: a mother-daughter team who are meticulous and skilled and lovely!
Through our collaboration, we are able to produce a yarn that maintains the color artistry of our original handspun product. Because we dye the fiber before it's spun, colors meet and part ways in stunning, unique combinations; the overall effect is of a balanced, seamless whole.
The Family Jewels
heavy sock / sport weight // 100% superwashed American wool // 200 yards per skein // hand wash or machine wash cold, lay flat to dry // suggested gauge: 8-5 sts per inch on US #2-7 // MADE IN THE USA FROM SHEEP TO SKEIN
Frosty Night

You can see all the colours on the website...

This is the Clementine Cowl. The pattern is available on Ravelry and in the store. It takes two skeins of Dyed in the Wool.
This slipped stitch polka dot pattern is a simple way to add a beautiful texture to Stockinette stitch. Knit in the round, the finishing couldn’t be more simple. Enjoy the color play as you watch this pattern unfold.
The Gumshoe Cowl is also knit with two skeins of Dyed in the Wool. The pattern is on Ravelry and in the store.

I'm home from work, the Jays game is on and it's time to knit. My last skein on Free Your Fade is down to 26grams. I'll be casting off soon.
