Home Opener

The first thing I did when I got to the store this morning was plug tracking numbers into the Canada Post website.

The box from Yarn Love has made it to Canada. It's currently in customs in Mississauga.

The two boxes from Hedgehog have left Heathrow. They haven't been scanned into Canada Post's tracking system yet but I'm assuming that they are in Canada.

The box from Prism Yarns has left Florida and we should see it next week.

Alex brought in a shawl that she just finished. I wanted to get more pictures but the store was full of customers. She'll be bringing it back to us for the Frolic so I'll photograph it again.

Pattern: Expressive (purchased on Ravelry)
Yarn: Skinny Singles - 2 Heyday for the body and 1 Kid You Not for the edging

There is a new pattern from Classic Elite Yarns.
The spring/summer season is here! And what better way to welcome Spring than to cast on for Tian Foley’s new design in Hanako. Simple garter stitch is knit loosely for understated simplicity and elegance while the split hem cuffs and layered length add just the right detail.
We have many great colours of Hanako in stock.

Download the pattern - it's free.

It's the Jays home opener tonight. I sure hope they decide to play better than they have for the first six games of the season.
