Home Again

We made it home safely but a bit tired. More on that later. When I was posting at 5 this morning I thought some pictures were missing but couldn't start messing around. Here they are.

We're unpacking the car and doing laundry while I'm quickly writing.
On our trip to Washington on Friday we stopped at a rest stop just outside of Pittsburgh. Oakmont. Yup. The site of this year's US Open. We stopped on our way home today to watch some of the practice rounds.

Beth's favourite golfer is Jason Day and we watched him on the second hole.

The day is very relaxed. You are allowed to take pictures. No one is yelling at you to be quiet. The golfers hit many putts on the green. They go from different angles to see how the greens slope. It was really cool. I can't wait to see it on TV. You wouldn't believe the elevation changes from tees to green.

Now it's bed time. Getting up at 5 makes for a very long day.
