Rowan Kidsilk Haze Stripe

As the day went on we started packing more and more yarn, kits, books and accessories for Woodstock. I think the van will be full now :)

Here are a couple of free patterns from Rowan's website.
Knit this beautiful mitred square scarf, a free download designed by Nancy Kleiber using the divine Kidsilk Haze Stripe (mohair and silk). With a simple yet effective stitch pattern, showing the stunning colours through the yarn perfectly, this knitting pattern is for the intermediate knitter.

One ball on 5mm needles. Now I'm thinking. Airplane knitting??

Knit this stunning drop stitch scarf, a free download designed by Nancy Kleiber using the exquisite yarns Fine Art (merino wool, kid mohair and mulberry silk) and Kidsilk Haze Stripe (super kid mohair and silk). With a beautiful stitch pattern that showcases the yarns wonderfully together, this knitting pattern is for the beginner knitter.

For some reason Rowan won't let me download this one right now but an educated guess says one ball of Kidsilk Haze Stripe and one skein of Fine Art. Probably a 5mm-6mm needle.

I've been to the chiropractor, picked up the van and had dinner. Now I'm debating heading back out to pick up my printing and a few shirts for mannequins. Part of the problem is that I'm home and comfortable and feeling a bit lazy. The real problem is the pouring rain. I've already been soaked once today and don't want to get wet again. As I write I realize that I need to suck it up and hit the road. Otherwise I have to go out really early in the morning. If I go now I'll be home in time for Grey's Anatomy. OK. I'm changing and heading out. Stay dry and have a good evening.
