Thank You Downtown Knit Collective

It's the calm before the storm. Here are some pictures of the store. It hasn't looked this tidy in a long, long time.

Jane, Cathy and Lynn are on their way. Beth is just leaving to pick up the cupcakes. Cupcakes?? We have treats for the ladies from Cupcakes in Westdale. I hope they are too full from lunch and leave them for us. :)

The front window-a bit dark-into the sun. We have new mannequins.
It is much later in the day. We had a great day with the knitters from the Downtown Knit Collective. If you were in the store when they arrived you will know what I am talking about when I say it was a bit crazy. We really need a bigger store for days like today.

The DKC group travel in style!!
Thanks to Beth, Jane, Cathy and Lynn for their help and thanks to the DKC for stopping by for the afternoon. My fingers are itching so it is time to get some knitting done on my Kidsilk Haze Stripe scarf.

Looks like they had fun, but as much fun as I had! Can you please tell me about the black cross-body bag that is on the orange sweater in one of the pictures. Ta.

How fun! They look like they are having fun. The store looks great, too. :)

Which one is the blue cardigan on the third picture? I love it.

The bag is the mini messenger bag from Namaste. We have eggplant (shown), lime, red and peacock. Black will be here in a few weeks.

Glad you enjoyed your visit yesterday.

The cardigan is called Ravinia. It is a pattern from Indigirl. We have the patterns in the store or you can purchase on Ravelry. The yarn is Shepherd Sport from Lorna's Laces.
